Formerly Skilled Park Stadium
In 2005 Populous were engaged to design and document a new 25,000 seats rectangular seat stadium to house rectangular sports (primarily the local Gold Coast Titans games) and other events on the Gold Coast.
Warrick was the Project Lead for this stadium project that is much lauded for its atmosphere, sightlines, operational efficiency and great value for money being constructed for $165million back in 2008.
The stadium also displays a great and unique aesthetic, reflecting the identity of the Gold Coast – the architectural form of the building as a simple facade wrap of PTFE fabric enclosing open naturally ventilated concourses uses the subtropical climate to its full advantage.
