Wembley Stadium

Wembley Stadium is one of the icons of world sport – or as Pele said, the heart of football.

The new 90,000 seat Wembley Stadium was designed by the World Stadium Team, a joint venture between Populous and Foster & Partners, from 1999-through to 2005 as a multi-purpose venue to host soccer, rugby, concerts and, by the installation of a temporary deck above pitch level, athletics when required.

Warrick was senior and integral member of the joint Design Team being tasked with liaising with the client, Wembley National Stadium Limited (WNSL) to make sure that the brief and operational requirements were accommodated in the final plans and design.
